Neighborhoods are woven together by the fabric of people who live, play and work there. So it’s only natural for Austin ’hoods to have such diverse shopping districts.

The eclectic up-and-coming Burnet Road/North Loop Boulevard neighborhood (some dare to call it Lo-Burn) has recently been compared to South Congress Avenue with its addition of assorted eateries, bars and retail stores.

Likewise, a recent boom in the amount of entertainment offerings has only added to the funky feel of established boutiques along South Lamar Boulevard in the 78704 ZIP code.
